Interns will work alongside experienced electricians, apprentices and foremen on active job sites, gaining practical experience while learning industry standards, safety practices, and foundational electrical skills. This internship is designed to provide meaningful, hands-on industry experience and may serve as a pathway to future full-time employment with Doyle Electric, Inc. The role is ideal for individuals interested in building a long-term career in the electrical trade.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with general job site operations to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentHandle materials, organize inventory, and assist with daily jobsite cleanupLoad and unload trucks, deliver tools and materials, and ensure proper storage at the end of each workdaySupport electricians by gathering materials, assisting with installations, and observing electrical construction activitiesFollow instructions from foremen, supervisors, and electricians to support jobsite productivityComply with all company safety policies, procedures, and jobsite requirementsPosition RequirementsRequired QualificationsStrong work ethic and genuine interest in learning the electrical tradeAbility to follow directions and work effectively as part of a teamDependable, punctual, and maintains a professional attitudeWillingness to comply with all company safety policies and job site rulesAbility to work full-time hours (schedule may vary based on project needs)Ability to lift approximately 50 lbsAbility to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work on ladders, scaffolding, and lifts for extended periodsValid driver's license with reliable transportationAbility to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screenAbility to provide basic hand tools, including (but not limited to):Tape measureUtility KnifeKlein PliersWire StrippersChannel locksPreferred QualificationsPrior construction, electrical, or trade-related experienceEnrollment in or interest in an electrical trade program (such as NCCER Electrical Training or similar)Familiarity with basic hand and power toolsEqual Opportunity Employer
