Company Overview D'avant Bakery is looking for a full/part time cashier/barista located in Edgewater NJ. D’avant Bakery is the largest independently owned Korean bakery on the East Coast, currently operating three retail locations and preparing for brand expansion. Summary We are seeking a passionate Cashier/Barista to join our team at D'avant Bakery. Located in the heart of the community, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service while preparing and serving our signature coffee and pastry offerings. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and pastries to customers. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment and workstations. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their needs. Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system. Follow food safety and handling procedures to ensure quality standards. Requirements Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively. Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy. Familiarity with Clover POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Knowledge of food handling practices is essential.
