Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist - Richlands, NC
This position offers a rewarding opportunity to work as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade during the 2026-27 school year. Located just one hour north of Wilmington, NC, this school-based role focuses on providing comprehensive speech and language support to a diverse group of learners in a dynamic educational setting. Key responsibilities include:Conducting speech and language assessments for students across K-12 grade levels.Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs.Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.Delivering direct therapy services consistent with best practices and current professional guidelines.Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in alignment with school policies. Desired qualifications and experience:Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology, or eligibility as a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate.Experience working in school settings providing SLP services to pediatric populations.Strong knowledge of speech and language development, disorders, and intervention strategies relevant to pediatrics.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school personnel.Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
