Director of Business Services

Methacton School District, among the highest performing public school districts in Pennsylvania located in Montgomery County (a suburb of Philadelphia), is seeking a Director of Business Services. The district has an operating budget of over $100 million annually with enrollment of about 4,500 students within seven school buildings. Requirements: Preferred Master’s Degree in Business Administration; successful business management experience (school experience preferred). Strong analytical ability, problem solving, and communications skills. Responsibilities:  Assist the Superintendent with leading the financial operations of the school district. Provide Supervision of the district’s financial, transportation, and food services operations. Responsible for supervision of budget development, accounting, reporting, audits, tax collection, cash flow, investments, insurance, bidding, purchasing, and inventory control.
