Position Overview: We are seeking a Electrical Field Service Technician (Apprentice) to join our group, job include: perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment at client sites. The ideal candidate will have Electrical technical knowledge, a commitment to safety, and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Assist senior field service technicians with installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment and systems Perform basic troubleshooting under supervision to identify electrical, mechanical, or control-related issues Support on-site activities including wiring, testing, inspections, and equipment setup Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals Use and maintain hand tools and electrical testing instruments safely and properly Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and industry regulations while working on customer sites Document service activities, test results, and findings in service reports Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding job progress, issues, and required materials Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, vehicles, and work areas Participate in training programs and actively develop technical skills and field experience Support customer interactions in a professional manner and represent the company positively on-site Travel to customer locations as required for field service assignments Qualifications Currently enrolled in or recently completed a technical school, vocational program, or associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field Basic understanding of electrical principles, wiring diagrams, schematics, and electrical safety practices Willingness to learn field service procedures, equipment installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance Ability to use basic hand tools and electrical test equipment (multimeter, voltage tester, etc.) Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with senior technicians, customers, and team members Willingness to travel to customer sites and work in industrial or outdoor environments Ability to lift equipment (e.g., up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks required for field work Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, service reporting systems) Commitment to following safety regulations and company procedures Preferred (Optional) Internship or hands-on experience in electrical installation, maintenance, or field service Familiarity with industrial equipment, power systems, or control panels OSHA safety training or equivalent certification Why Join VE Power Inc: Competitive salary and benefits.
