As we continue to expand, we are looking for shift leads who shares our passion for the restaurant industry and is eager to grow with us.Role and ResponsibilitiesAssists manager to oversee restaurant operations by focusing on quality food and serviceEnforcing policies and ensuring employees are working the Burgermaster way as defined by Managers and CorporateResponsible for running the line and employees get their required breaks and mealtimesAssist with food costs by reducing or eliminating waste and knowing when to place other business priorities above food costAssist with labor cost by ensuring employees on the clock are working, and ensuring the proper amount of employees are workingAssist with prep work and cleaning, including checklistsReports issues of attitude, behavior, and attendance, ensuring situations are recorded following the incident reporting process and/or brought to Managers attentionCoordinate which station each team member is assigned to for the shiftAct as center of communication for the kitchenAttends Supervisor trainings as requiredSupervisor may be scheduled specific stations and/or jobs , but is expected to switch stations and/or jobs as needed to support the teamOther duties as assignedRequired Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesExcellent time management skills.Proven customer service skillsKnowledge of all stations in the kitchenDemonstrate leadership skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to read English and comprehend simple instructionsFamiliarity with food handling, safety, and other restaurant guidelines.Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious restaurant experience requiredPrevious Supervisory experience preferredBasic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skillsFood handlers permit required within 7 days of hireServeSafe certifications required within 1 year of hire to Supervisory roleWork EnvironmentProlonged periods standing, walking, and working around kitchen equipmentMust be able to lift 50 pounds at times.Must be comfortable working long hours, including nights and weekends.Noise level is usually moderateBenefits-Based on eligibilityHealthDentalVisionLifeVacationSick PayPaid meal while on shift401(k)401(k) employer match$23-$26 per hour + TipsRequirements:Compensation details: 23-26 Hourly WagePI2572e51655f6-31181-40412880RequiredPreferredJob IndustriesOther
