Job DescriptionAdelphi is seeking Special Education Teachers to serve in Greenville County, South Carolina, providing specialized instruction and support for students with learning disabilities and multi-categorical needs. Openings are available at both the middle and elementary school levels.Job Quick Facts:BD-1056-03Location: Greenville County, South CarolinaJob Type: ContractFacility Type: Elementary & Middle SchoolsShift Schedule: 40 hours per week (full-time) or 20 hours per week (half-time, depending on assignment)Start Date: ASAPRate: $30/hrRequirements:Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or universityValid South Carolina Teaching Certificate (or eligibility to obtain)Special Education endorsement/certification for Learning Disabilities (LD) or Multi-categorical (multi-categorical preferred; LD acceptable)Completion of a teacher preparation program with student teachingBackground check and fingerprinting clearanceResponsibilities:Adapt and deliver instruction to meet each student's unique needs and IEP goalsDevelop, implement, and maintain IEPs in compliance with IDEA and SC state standardsMonitor and assess student progress using data-driven instructionCollaborate with general education staff to promote inclusion and accessibilityAttend IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessionsMaintain organized and accurate records of student performance and services providedEmploy a variety of instructional strategies and tools, including technology, to enhance learningSupport the emotional, social, and academic development of students with disabilitiesContribute to school-wide initiatives and special projects as assignedAny other duties as assigned.
