OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Locum Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant - Surgery - Vascular for our client in Colorado! Job Responsibilities * Provide first assist in vascular surgery procedures* Support general, endovascular, and complex vascular surgeries* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including APPs, MAs, RVTs, and a full-time provider* Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and care coordination* Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled Qualifications * Board certified through ABMS or AOA* Active Colorado medical license* COVID-19 vaccination required* Clean malpractice and background history* Must disclose number of years using Epic and the most recent usage date Working Hours * Must be available to cover two extended weekends per month (Thursday through Monday or Tuesday)* Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60?90 days Skills * Proficient in first assist for vascular surgeries* Experience in procedures including bypass, fem-pop, aorto-femoral/iliac, peripheral, carotid, thoracic, and abdominal surgeries* Skilled in placement of vascular access devices and subclavian steal procedures* Familiar with Epic EMR system and efficient documentation practices* Ability to work effectively in a trauma-level hospital environment All travel expenses are reimbursed by our client and Orchard covers malpractice insurance with tail coverage!
