VISA: GC, USC, H4EADRATE NEGOTIABLENEED MULTIPLE STATE CLIENT EXP.Job Details:Job Title: Senior Application Programmer (Power Platform Developer)Duration: 2 years with possible extensionLocation: Remote - Baton RougeThe scope of the proposed services will include the following:• Application Development & Solution Design• Design, build, and maintain Power Platform solutions including:o Canvas and Model-driven Power Appso Power Pageso Power Automate cloud flows and approvalso On-Prem and Cloud RDBMS and Dataverse data models, business rules, and security roleso Power BI reports and dashboards• Translate business and program requirements into scalable technical solutions.• Develop reusable components, patterns, and templates aligned with OTS standards.• Provide knowledge transfer and training to in-house developers.• Integration & Architecture• Integrate Power Platform solutions with:o Microsoft 365 serviceso Dynamics 365 (where applicable)o Azure serviceso External systems via connectors and APIs• Apply best practices for:o Performanceo Scalabilityo Maintainability• Governance, Security & Compliance• Implement:o Role-based securityo Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policieso Environment strategies• Ensure solutions comply standards and applicable federal and state regulations including:o Securityo Privacyo Accessibility• Support:o Auditso Documentationo Technical reviews• Collaboration & Leadership• Work closely with:o Business stakeholderso Project managerso Architectso Other developers• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to:o Junior developerso Citizen developers• Participate in:o Solution reviewso Code reviewso Architecture discussions• Innovation & Emerging Capabilities• Evaluate and pilot new Power Platform features and capabilities.• Copilot Studio experience (plus):o Assist in designing conversational AI solutions and virtual agentso Support use cases such as:§ Knowledge retrieval§ Case intake§ Internal support automationMandatory Skills & Experience• 5+ years of experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including:o Power Appso Power Automateo On-Prem and Cloud RDBMSo Dataverseo Power BI• 5+ years of strong experience in:o Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)o Environment strategy (Dev / Test / Prod)o Deployment and troubleshootingo Security and role-based access controlo SQL Queries• 5+ years of experience gathering requirements and translating them into technical designs.• Ability to work independently across multiple projects in a shared-services environment.Desired / Preferred Skills• Experience with Copilot Studio or conversational AI platforms.• Experience working in government, public sector, or regulated environments.• Experience with MS SQL Server.• Familiarity with:o Dynamics 365o Azure services (Logic Apps, Functions, API Management, etc.)o DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for Power Platform• Microsoft Certifications such as:o Power Platform Developero Power Platform Solution Architect
