Authorizations Expert

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in home systems and warranty authorizations. They will have strong customer service skills. They should be analytic, have domain experience and comprehensive understanding of diagnosis on water heater, appliance and/or HVAC. Located in Utah County preferred, but remote work and/or moving expenses can be discussed. ResponsibilitiesAs an Authorizations Agent / Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for:A. Inbound Call Management – handle inbound calls from Service Professionals, accuratelydiagnosing issues, verifying whether the item is covered under the customers contract,ensuring correct pricing is applied, and making informed coverage decisions.B. Procurement - Sourcing and ordering the correct parts and units required to maximizethe speed and cost of various customer repairs.C. Outbound Call Management – Proactively make outbound calls to service pros to follow-up on the status of ongoing jobs, providing assistance and identifying solutions to movejobs to completion.D. Customer Communication – Maintain close communication with customers throughoutthe claims process, providing clear updates and outlining customer options.E. Service Professional Relationship Management – Manage a designated group of Serviceprofessionals, fostering strong working relationships, setting clear expectations, andensuring alignment between their needs and company requirements.Qualifications3+ years of business experienceStrong written and verbal communication skillsHVAC, Appliance, Water Heater knowledgeExperience in warranty authorizations and/or procurement
