Python Developer (Contract-to-Hire)Location: Dallas, TXEmployment Type: Contract-to-HireAbout the RoleWe're looking for a motivated Python Developer who enjoys building backend applications, working with APIs, and solving technical challenges. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative team where you'll work on developing new features, improving existing applications, and working with modern technologies including AI and large language models (LLMs).Whether you've gained experience through professional work or personal projects, we'd love to hear from you if you're passionate about Python development.What You'll DoDevelop clean, efficient, and maintainable Python applications.Build and maintain integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.Create and support backend services using Flask.Process and analyze data using the pandas library.Collaborate with team members to design and implement new features.Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications.Participate in code reviews and follow coding best practices.Create technical documentation for applications and development processes.Follow data security and privacy best practices.Use Git for version control and team collaboration.Explore and leverage AI prompting and Large Language Models (LLMs) to improve development workflows.What We're Looking ForExperience developing applications using Python.Knowledge of REST and/or SOAP APIs.Experience using the pandas library for data processing.Familiarity with the Flask framework.Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases.Experience using Git or other version control systems.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good communication and collaboration abilities.Interest or experience working with AI tools, prompt engineering, or LLMs.Nice to HaveExperience in the financial services industry or another regulated environment.Hands-on experience with API development through work, school, or personal projects.Familiarity with backend web application development and deployment.Exposure to IIS or similar web server technologies.If you're passionate about Python development and enjoy building scalable applications while learning emerging AI technologies, we'd love to connect with you!
