Be a part of a world-class team who keep the world moving through the manufacturing of Heavy Duty trucksWe Take Care of Our TeamThis position offers:Starting pay of $19.55/hr. up to top pay of $27.59/hr.*Quarterly gainsharing bonus potential*additional shift differential for off-shiftsBenefits include: 401k includes up to 8% match and non-elective contribution, full coverage benefit plan options, starting at 4 weeks paid vacation, 8-10 calendar holidays, paid sick/disability leave (including sick days), 8 weeks paid paternal leave, employee assistance program; comprehensive health and wellness programs, and tuition assistanceWhat You Drive at DTNAGeneral Purpose of the Position:Move, sort, inspect, and deliver materials as directed following prescribed practices or instructions.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesConduct routine and systematic cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy across assigned storage locations, ensuring compliance with established schedules and company guidelines.Inspect, identify, accurately document, and receive Detroit Diesel core components.Package and prepare pass-through core materials for shipment to other distribution centers.Complete all required daily paperwork and maintain accurate updates on production boards.Conduct 5S audits and complete assigned daily checklists.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and suggesting process enhancements.Use daily discomfort logs and report any sickness, injury, or safety concern immediatelyregardless of severity.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area through consistent housekeeping practices.Demonstrate flexibility by moving to various work areas based on production demands.Be available to work overtime, including weekends, as required by the production schedule.Participate in team huddles, group projects, and one on one communications to support team alignment.Follow all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment.Minimum RequirementsEducation: High school diploma/GEDYears of Experience: 1-2 years' preferred experienceOther Qualifications:Previous experience with core identification and strong product knowledge.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage work efficiently.Skilled in troubleshooting and problem?solving as needed.Excellent attendance record and proven performance.Solid math skills and strong memory retention (both considered a plus).Ability to obtain forklift and fall?protection certifications.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.Self?motivated and highly detail?oriented.Physical RequirementsLift and maneuver materials weighing up to 75 pounds with proper assistance, including the use of overhead cranes or approved lifting devices, following all safety procedures and team?lifting protocols.Use hands continuously throughout the shift, including gripping, manipulating, and positioning tools or materials.Stand for prolonged periods (majority of the shift), including standing while working at benches or workstations.Perform frequent bending, twisting, and torso rotation throughout the shift, including reaching to lower levels, turning at the waist, and maintaining bent?over positions as required by task demands.Perform frequent hand and arm movements, including:Full?fist gripping of toolsPressing or pushing with thumbs and fingersTwisting the lower armTurning or bending the wrist up, down, left, or rightPush and pull equipment or materialssuch as carts, pallet jacks, or binson a regular basis.Reach forward frequently during work processes.Where We WorkThis position is open to applicants who can work in (or relocate to) the following location(s): Tooele, UT US.
