We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while working in a brand-new inpatient rehabilitation unit in Atlantis, FL.Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.Active Florida Occupational Therapy license required prior to start.Minimum 6 months of experience in acute care, skilled nursing facility (SNF), or inpatient rehabilitation unit required.Familiarity with Meditech documentation system preferred.Ability to perform 1:1 therapy and use common therapy equipment in an inpatient rehab setting.Good critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills. Ability to incorporate weekends into a 5-day workweek is a plus.Grey scrubs required as dress code.BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.Assignment DetailsFacility type: Hospital — Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit.Shift name: Days.Shift hours: 08:30–17:00.Scheduling: 5 days per week, 8-hour shift expectation.Floating: Primary float within the IP Rehab unit.Unit size: 42-bed inpatient rehab unit with new equipment.Location HighlightsAtlantis, FL offers nearby outdoor recreation and coastal access.
