Entry Level - Insulation and Weatherization Technician

AVID Energy Solutions , a Mass Save Partner , is immediately seeking an Entry Level - Insulation and Weatherization Technician with no experience needed to join our team and start a career helping customers with energy efficiency and utility cost savings.This is a full-time role at AVID Energy Solutions with a path for growth. Our Insulation and Weatherization crews have all training and ongoing certifications paid for the keep you on the cutting edge of the industry. We are looking for individuals who want the opportunity for increased earning and growth potential in the company and the opportunity to become a Crew Lead. We offer very competitive hourly wages.Our crews are made up of a lead and two other installers. We use AccuMachines for our medium-sized blowing machines.Home Insulation and Weatherization project work includes:Air sealing and duct sealingProper roof and attic ventsAttic and wall blown in celluloseBatting in attics and basementsWeather stripping of doorsEssential Job Functions & Qualifications:Previous insulation or carpentry experience preferredHave active license with no / minimal driving infractionsWork 7:15am- 4:15pm daily and additional hours as requiredGood work ethic, can-do attitude, and do the right thing even when no one is watchingPunctual arrival and departure from siteConsistent tidy appearanceAble to understand verbal and written instructions.Ability to lift 50+ lbs.Able to organize assigned tasks, for completion alone or with help.Ability to work independently and solve problems with minimal supervision.Asbestos wall experience preferredAluminum wall experience preferredAbility to manage multiple tasksAbility to enter and maneuver in crawl spaces, basements and attics as neededBilingual preferred but not requiredTravels frequently within assigned territoryConsent to a CORI background check and drug testBenefits:Health, Dental and Vision insuranceLife insurancePaid time off & Paid company holidaysUncapped commissions and bonusesContinuous training and growth opportunitiesReferral programAbout AVID Energy Solutions:AVID Energy Solutions is a proud Mass Save partner dedicated to helping home owners reduce their energy output and save on their monthly utility bills.
