Mobile Automation Engineer

Mobile automation engineer. Need to have 3+ years working with Appium in the US on the Android platform. Client prefers someone local to Columbus Ohio and willing to go onsite 3-4 days/week. Need to have great comm skills, verifiable employment history and pass an internal video screening with myself and our inhouse Appium SME.Qualifications3+ years of hands-on experience writing automation for native Android applications.Proficiency with Appium (2.x preferred) — setup, configuration, and test design patterns.Demonstrated experience running mobile test suites on Sauce Labs Real Device Cloud.Strong API automation skills using Postman, including environment management and Newman CLI.Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps with YAML.Practical knowledge of load and performance testing with Apache JMeter.Working knowledge of AWS core services (S3, EC2, CloudWatch) for test infrastructure.Experience with Git and feature-branch or trunk-based development workflows.Strong debugging skills — able to triage flaky tests and correlate failures to root causes.
