Sam is best known for making chips in his garage, and Jim has been a leader in the semiconductor industry for the past 40 years.About The Rolefab2 is hiring a Technical Program Manager to accelerate development of our semiconductor fab. You’ll translate top-level company goals into technical programs and drive execution from concept through integration. You’ll report to our CEO, Sam Zeloof, and build out the system that coordinates Atomic Semi’s mechanical, electrical, software, and production teams.ResponsibilitiesManage the development of fab tools and components from requirements definition to production release. Drive cross-functional execution across mechanical, electrical, embedded/software, and production to hit spec and schedule. Maintain the critical path, surface technical risks early, and define mitigations and alternate routes to keep projects moving. Communicate status, decisions, and risks proactively across teams and up to leadership. Build lightweight project management systems for planning, communication, and visibility. Required Experience5+ years of experience managing complex hardware projects. Demonstrated ability deliver on tight engineering timelines and manage trade-offs to deliver new products; excellent judgement. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with a project management software, isn’t too tied to a particular one. Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience. Nice-to-haveHaving performed some type of hardware engineering, such as mechanical or electrical. Familiarity or interest in semiconductor technologies and semiconductor specific techniques/tools. Experience leading NPI programs and successfully transitioning products from engineering/R&D builds through production ramp in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
