Team Lead / Driver – Marquette Movers Location: Marquette, MI Job Type: Part-time initially, transitioning to full-time in April Pay: Competitive hourly rate + tips + performance bonuses Job Description Marquette Movers is looking for a reliable, experienced Team Lead / Driver to help lead moving crews and deliver top-tier service to our customers. This role is ideal for someone who’s comfortable driving box trucks, leading a team on job sites, and bringing a positive, professional attitude to physically demanding work. This position will start part-time, with hours increasing as we head into our busy season. The role is expected to transition to full-time availability in April. As a Team Lead, you’ll be the point person on moves—communicating with customers, communicating with dispatch, directing crew members, and ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and professionally. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and company vehicles Lead and supervise moving crews on residential and commercial moves Load, transport, and unload furniture and household goods Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and management Maintain a positive attitude on job sites, even in challenging situations Ensure proper use of moving equipment and protective materials Help train and support newer crew members Qualifications Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Experience driving box trucks (preferred) Previous moving, labor, or team leadership experience (strongly preferred) Ability to lift heavy items and work on your feet for extended periods Must have a positive attitude and strong work ethic Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented What We Offer Competitive pay with opportunities for raises Tips and performance-based bonuses Crew bonuses for 5-star customer reviews Consistent work with increasing hours into spring Supportive, tight-knit team environment Opportunity to grow into a full-time leadership role Gym membership Why Marquette Movers?
