SUMMARYUnder the immediate supervision of the kitchen Lead, the Cook is responsible for performing any combination of duties necessary to facilitate food service and maintain a clean kitchen and equipment.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Cook food orders promptly.* Receive merchandise and stocks.* Clean grill, fryer, counters, dishes, and mop floors.* Must comply with all food safety and health regulations.* Work in a fast-paced environment.* Ensure all temperature and food safety logs are done daily.* Maintain accurate stock & inventory.* Other duties may be assigned.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES* Knowledge of food preparation.* Knowledge of grill, fryer, slicer, and other kitchen equipment preferred.* Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.* Must be able to work in an environment containing excessive noise.* Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds regularly.* Ability to stand, walk, stoop, or pull for long periods.QUALIFICATIONS* Must have a current Health Card or be able to obtain a Health CardEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE* A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred* 2-year work experience in a related field, line or grill cook is preferred.* All applicants must be 18 years or older to apply*Disclaimers:There are suitability standards that all applicants must meet to obtain employment with Cocopah Casino and the Cocopah Indian Tribe.
