Lead Mac Analyst
Title : Lead Mac Analyst (JAMF / MDM / End-User Experience) Location : Atlanta, GA (Onsite)Duration: Long-term/Fulltime/PermanentRole Summary:The Lead Mac Analyst is responsible for overseeing Mac endpoint management, driving MDM strategy (JAMF), and leading end-user support services including Genius Bar operations. This role combines deep technical expertise with leadership responsibilities to enhance device experience, security, and operational efficiency across the enterprise.Key Responsibilities:Lead, manage and Own JAMF Pro and MDM strategy, including device lifecycle management, compliance, and automation.Define and implement macOS standards, policies, and security controls aligned with enterprise guidelines.Oversee device provisioning (ABM/DEP), patch management, and software distribution.Mac support operations, including Genius Bar / walk-up support.Act as an escalation point (L3) for complex macOS, iOS, and endpoint-related issues.Design and implement automation and scripting (Bash/Python) for endpoint management and efficiency.Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and identity teams for integrations (Azure AD, Okta, SSO).Ensure compliance with security standards (encryption, patching, vulnerability remediation).Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance Digital Employee Experience (DEX).Manage and mentor a team of Mac analysts / support engineers.Track and report KPIs, SLAs, and DEX metrics, and provide insights for leadership.Govern asset management and CMDB accuracy for Apple devices.Required Skills & Experience:6–10 years of experience in macOS support and endpoint management.Strong expertise in JAMF Pro (design, deployment, and administration).Hands-on experience with MDM platforms (JAMF, Intune, Workspace ONE).Deep knowledge of Apple ecosystem (macOS, iOS, Apple Business Manager, DEP, VPP).Experience in enterprise-scale device management and automation.Strong troubleshooting skills across OS, hardware, applications, and networking.Experience working with ITSM tools (ServiceNow) and ITIL processes.Preferred Qualifications:JAMF 200/300/400 CertificationApple Certified Support Professional (ACSP)Experience with Azure AD / Okta / Zero Trust frameworksKnowledge of DEX tools (e.g., Nexthink)Experience in automation, APIs, and DevOps practices for endpoint management
