Release Train Engineer
RELEASE TRAIN ENGINEER (RTE) / AGILE PROGRAM MANAGER Location: Dallas, TX or Philadelphia, PA (Remote with potential onsite) Type: ContractOverview We are seeking an experienced Release Train Engineer to support Identity and Access Management (IAM) program delivery. In this role you will operate at the program level, organizing and facilitating the Agile Release Train (ART), ensuring data and progress roll up from scrum teams to program leadership, and driving alignment across delivery teams.Key ResponsibilitiesFacilitate ART events including PI Planning, Inspect & Adapt, and System DemosCoordinate and align multiple scrum teams operating within the release trainEnsure visibility and reporting of delivery progress from team to program levelIdentify and remove program-level impediments affecting deliveryPartner with Product Management, Solution Architects, and stakeholders to maintain program alignmentApply technical understanding of IAM concepts to intelligently triage issues and engage the right resourcesCoach teams on SAFe principles and agile best practicesTrack and communicate program risks, dependencies, and milestonesRequired Qualifications5+ years of agile delivery experience with at least 2+ years in an RTE or Agile Program Manager roleDemonstrated experience running Agile Release Trains in a SAFe environmentSufficient technical understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) to oversee delivery and manage escalations — hands-on technical background not required but technical comprehension is essentialExperience in financial services, banking, or enterprise IT environments preferredStrong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skillsSAFe RTE or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) certification preferredPreferred QualificationsFamiliarity with IAM tools and concepts (identity governance, access provisioning, authentication/authorization)Experience working in security or infrastructure-adjacent delivery environmentsPrior experience with large-scale enterprise agile transformations
