Neurology Physician AssistantBronx, New YorkPosition OverviewA large, well-established multispecialty group in the Bronx is seeking an experienced Neurology Physician Assistant to join its outpatient neurology team. This is a permanent, clinic-based role supporting neurologists and collaborating with other specialty APPs in a fast-paced, diverse patient population.Clinical ResponsibilitiesProvide neurology care under the supervision of a physicianEvaluate patients, obtain comprehensive medical histories, and perform physical and neurologic examinationsOrder and interpret diagnostic tests; assist in diagnosing neurologic conditionsPrescribe medications and therapies in accordance with collaborative agreementsMonitor patient response to treatment plans and adjust care as appropriateCounsel and educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and prognosisReview patient histories and identify abnormal or evolving neurologic conditionsDocument all encounters, treatments, and follow-up plans accurately in the EMRCoordinate care with physicians, APPs, and multidisciplinary team membersPrepare patients for examinations and perform routine clinical proceduresParticipate in outpatient care delivery and occasional urgent or same-day evaluations as neededPractice Setting & ScheduleOutpatient neurology practiceMonday-Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.Saturday hours: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (schedule specifics to be discussed)Multiple practice locations throughout the BronxRequirementsBoard-certified or board-eligible Physician AssistantPost-training neurology experience requiredStrong clinical assessment and documentation skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a multispecialty environmentBilingual Spanish is a plus, not requiredCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary: $130,000-$150,000 annuallyComprehensive benefits packageH-1B visa sponsorship available, if neededOrganization HighlightsLarge multispecialty group with offices throughout the five boroughsOver 140 physicians and 100+ advanced practice providersEstablished infrastructure and specialty supportEasily accessible locations via public transportationLifestylePractice in the Bronx with access to everything New York City offersDiverse patient population and urban clinical experience
