Join Our Dedicated Team: Hematology/Oncology Physician Opportunity in Stockton, CAPosition Title:Hematology/Oncology Physician Agency:Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Location:Stockton, CA Salary Range:242,000-336,000 Work Schedule:Full-timeJob Description The Hematology/Oncology Physician will provide high-quality, evidence-based care to veteran patients in an outpatient and inpatient setting. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Diagnosing and treating blood disorders and cancers.Administering chemotherapy and other oncologic therapies.Participating in the development and implementation of patient care plans.Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.Participating in clinical research and medical education activities.Performing bone marrow biopsies and other relevant procedures.Qualifications Basic Requirements:U.S. CitizenshipDegree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine.Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.Completed residency training, or its equivalent, approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification.Preferred Experience:Board certification in Hematology and/or Oncology.Experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings.Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment.Prior experience working with veterans is highly desirable.BenefitsCompetitive salary based on qualifications and experience.Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid vacation.Opportunities for professional growth and development.Supportive work environment with access to advanced medical technologies and resources.Let's Connect!
