Grocery POS Software Specialist
Summary:
Retail Data Systems is looking for a passionate and driven grocery store systems specialist to join our South Florida area team. This position will be an integral member of our grocery store team, implementing and supporting our customer base. You will be responsible for the successful programming and configuration of various grocery store software and hardware technology products, and providing knowledge and training at the customer level.
You will spend time learning our core product offerings and becoming a product expert. The ideal candidate will be able to work alongside our support help desk and be an escalation point as needed.

What You’ll Do:
Customer Service is the core of our focus at RDS. As one of our frontline leaders with our clients, communication capabilities across multiple forms (email, chat, and phone) is key.
Become a product expert through internal training and documentation.
Maintain a positive working relationship with multiple clients.
Troubleshoot possible software issues, reporting bugs and enhancements.
Utilize customer relationship tools to maintain support infrastructure and documentation.
Partner with RDS’s vendors and manufacturers for necessary additional support.

What Would Be A Plus:
Experience working in a grocery store environment.
POS and/or Networking Certifications.
Experience with payment terminals
Fluent in Spanish

Background in IT support and desktop support
Familiarity with VPN, Firewall, TCP, SCCM, GPO, and Mac OS
