This role requires a high level of independence, technical precision, and the ability to manage complex design packages with minimal supervision.You will be responsible for producing and coordinating civil design documentation across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring full compliance with U.S. codes, standards, and permitting requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesLead preparation of detailed civil design drawings and full construction document packagesDevelop site layouts, grading plans, drainage systems, utilities, and stormwater management designsProduce and oversee drawings in AutoCAD Civil 3D with high accuracy and consistencyCoordinate across multidisciplinary teams (civil, structural, architectural, PMs)Manage multi-state permitting documentation and jurisdictional requirementsPerform QA/QC of design packages to ensure compliance with U.S. codes and standardsIdentify design inconsistencies, risks, and potential delays proactivelySupport engineering teams with advanced technical drafting and revisionsMaintain structured documentation and version control across projectsQualificationsEducation:Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Required)Licensure:PE License (multi-state preferred / required)Experience:5+ years of U.S.-based civil/site design experience (required)Proven experience working on industrial or large-scale commercial projectsStrong experience with multi-state permitting and regulatory environmentsDemonstrated ability to handle projects independently with minimal oversightSkills and AbilitiesAdvanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (required)Strong knowledge of U.S. site design standards, codes, and permitting processesHigh level of drafting precision and technical detailingStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyNative or near-native English proficiency requiredWork ScheduleMonday – Friday9:00 AM – 5:00 PMFull-time, on-site onlyWork LocationNew York, NY (Wall Street location – 17 State Street)In-personCompensation & Benefits$120,000 – $150,000 per yearPerformance-based bonus401(k)Medical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off
