Logistics Coordinator/Procurement

Independence Realty Trust is currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator with Procurement experience for its design team in Louisville, KY. The Logistics Coordinator will manage projects from order creation to project completion and will be the point of contact for all orders, as it flows from order placement to installation and closing out of a project. The interior design team is fast paced and requires excellent time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills. To research us in more detail, visit www.irtliving.comResponsibilitiesManage purchasing operations related to orders from the project handoff to install Manage and track all account invoices for projectsLogistics operations related to design material deliverablesEnsure accuracy of vendor acknowledgementsProduct tracking-lead times, shipping, delivery, receiving, damage claimsManage logistics companies on receivables and installs Manage communication between the design dept. and communities on orders, receipt of products, install of products, and project closeoutsManage project lead time and project schedules to ensure timely delivery of above said itemsReview contracts between IRT and logistics companies for bids and execution of delivery of goods and servicesCreate and update the database of cost, scheduling, and delivery of goods and services within and outside our ERP systemUpon project closeout, run analytics and project cost analysisComplete reclass for Design Spend for each projectTrack vendor spend and negotiate pricing realignment per design spend throughout the yearDesign FF&E inventory management at each logistic partnershipTravel and manage the logistics partners during the install of renovation projects ensuring the goods and services are delivered and installed properly per IRT specificationsQualificationsRequirements1-3 years of experience in the delivery and management of procurement, purchasing, strategic supply chainBachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or relevant fieldAbility to direct and manage the procurement process using “best in class” procurement methodsHigh degree of attention to detail requiredExperience using an ERP system and/or MRP softwareStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAbility to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholdersExcellent communication, persuasion and negotiation skillsProficient in MS Office Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PP) Smart SheetsMust be willing to travel up to 25%.We OfferCompetitive Compensation PackageBonus OpportunitiesStock AwardsPaid Holidays and Paid Time OffBCBS PPO Health Insurance401k with 4% matchIndependence Realty Trust is an Equal Opportunity Employer and committed to building a diverse and inclusive culture.
