Summary of FunctionsThe Seasonal Aquatics Manager is responsible for the leadership, safety, programming, and daily operation of the Kalispel Golf and Country Club (KGCC) aquatic facilities during the peak seasonal period. This role ensures a premier, resort-style aquatics experience for members and guests while maintaining strict compliance with health and safety regulations and industry best practices.This position leads all aquatics staff, oversees pool operations, and delivers high-quality programming aligned with the Club's mission of providing a premier hospitality experience.This is a seasonal position generally going from April to September, with flexibility based on weather conditions and operations.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAquatic Operations & SafetyOversee daily pool operations including water quality, chemical balance, and pool equipment in compliance with local and state standardsEnsure a safe, clean, and well-maintained aquatic environment at all timesMaintain required logs (chemical readings, incident reports, certifications, inspections)Proactively identify and resolve safety risksStaff Leadership & DevelopmentRecruit, hire, train, schedule, and evaluate all aquatics staffMaintain proper staff-to-patron ratios and certification complianceFoster a culture of safety, accountability, and hospitalityConduct regular in-service training and emergency drillsProgramming & Member ExperienceDevelop and execute a seasonal calendar of aquatics programming including:Swim lessons (youth and adult)Recreational swim activitiesClub events and private bookingsEnhance member engagement and satisfaction through innovative programmingSupport club initiatives positioning KGCC as a premier aquatics and family destinationEvents & Revenue GenerationCoordinate aquatic events and club-sponsored activitiesCollaborate with Food & Beverage and Events teams to support poolside service and experiencesIdentify opportunities to increase utilization, participation, and non-dues revenueAdministrative & Financial OversightAssist with seasonal aquatics budget management (labor, supplies, programming)Track participation metrics and program performanceProvide recommendations for continuous improvementSupervisory ResponsibilitiesEnsures supervisory decisions align with organizational goals and are in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures, applicable laws, and regulations. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training team members; planning, assigning, and directing work; scheduling and timekeeping; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining team members; addressing complaints and resolving problems.OtherResponsible for maintaining good attendance.This job description does not list all duties of this position.
