Summary:The Lifecyle Marketing, Senior Associate Manager will be a key member of the DTC/Digital Marketing team, reporting into the Director of DTC and partnering with all brand functions to grow and deepen our direct relationship with Sun Bum Customers — driving long-term, incremental growth for the brand. Essential Duties: The Lifecycle Marketing, Senior Associate Manager will focus on optimizing the digital customer journey to boost lifetime value and drive growth for the DTC business. This role will develop and execute targeted strategies that nurture customers at each stage of their journey, expanding the customer base, enhancing engagement, and increasing retention. This includes creating personalized, well-timed, and cross-channel communications to deepen customer relationships, as well as driving conversion rate optimization through A/B testing and ongoing improvements to the customer experience. Additionally, the role will involve using data analytics to track performance, optimize strategies, and ensure the seamless execution of campaigns. Responsibilities: Retention Marketing Strategy & Customer Journey Enhancement: Develop and execute lifecycle marketing strategies through email, SMS, and other digital channels to drive customer loyalty Increase lifetime value, and grow the DTC business Implement segmentation, personalization, and targeted communication strategies based on customer behavior and lifecycle stages. Optimize customer journeys using automation and AI to ensure a seamless and engaging experience Working with cross-functional teams to define key digital touchpoints and key initiatives like exclusive product drops, loyalty program, and website features. Segmentation, A/B Testing & Conversion Rate Optimization: Implement segmentation, personalization, and targeted communication strategies based on customer behavior and lifecycle stages. Manage customer segmentation for targeted campaigns and lead A/B testing to optimize conversion rates and improve the overall user experience. Leverage data analytics to monitor performance, identify trends, and refine strategies to maximize campaign effectiveness. Agency & Partner Collaboration: Collaborate with external partners and agencies, including SEO teams and vendor platforms (Attentive, Klaviyo, Stay ai, Black Crow), to optimize strategies, drive traffic, and ensure smooth execution of campaigns. Align performance data and business objectives to ensure best practices and effective collaboration. Analytics, Reporting & Compliance: Monitor and report on key lifecycle marketing metrics (e.g., CAC, CVR, ROI, LTV) and use attribution tools to assess campaign performance. Ensure campaigns adhere to data privacy laws and industry regulations. Provide actionable insights to stakeholders and drive continuous improvement across initiatives. Stay current on industry trends and advancements in retention marketing and eCommerce through courses, webinars and events. Required Skills / Experience / Competencies: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing with a minor in Retail Studies 3+ years of experience in e-commerce, with a focus on DTC, customer engagement, and digital marketing. Proficiency in e-commerce platforms (Shopify Plus/Enterprise), email/SMS marketing tools (Klaviyo, Attentive), project management software (Asana), and data analysis tools (Triple Whale, Glew, Google Analytics, Daasity). Experience with AI-driven customer acquisition/retention platforms (Black Crow, Stay Ai). Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn data insights into actionable strategies. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally. Creative thinking and a customer-first mindset. Up-to-date knowledge of e-commerce trends, digital marketing strategies, and consumer behavior. Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies: Experience in consumer goods, preferably personal care, and OTC’s Knowledge of and experience working with a CDP In-depth knowledge of consumer segmentation by demographic and by channel Experience in turning data into actionable insights Proven leadership abilities and a strong team player Job Requirements & Compensation:Full Time Up to 25% overnight travel$76,00-$99,750 is the salary range for this position. It represents a portion of the overall package, and includes flexibility based on the candidate's qualifications.Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assignedat any time with or without notice as assigned by the Manager.
