Sales Representative

Status: Exempt: Salary with uncapped commissionPosition OverviewAlternative Comp Solutions is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to drive business growth in the Cleveland market. This role focuses on selling workers’ compensation solutions and Alternative Employer Organization (AEO) services to businesses across Ohio. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of the Ohio BWC system, a consultative sales approach, and a strong track record of building and managing client relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesProspect, develop, and close new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and targeted outreach Educate employers on the value of AEO services and workers’ compensation strategies Analyze employer loss runs and claims history to identify cost-saving opportunities Promote and implement BWC programs such as group rating and group retrospective rating to reduce client premiums Conduct client meetings, presentations, and consultations to deliver tailored solutions Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor Partner with internal teams to ensure successful implementation and ongoing client satisfaction Track sales activity, pipeline, and performance using CRM tools Key Qualifications & Requirements5–10 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in staffing, PEO, TPA, or related industries Strong understanding of Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) programs and administrative rules Proven ability to analyze loss runs and present data-driven recommendations Excellent consultative selling, networking, and relationship management skills Strong presentation and communication abilities Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Self-motivated with the ability to manage a territory independently Ideal BackgroundExperience selling workers’ compensation, TPA, PEO, or related services Background as an Account Manager or Business Development Representative in a similar industry Established network within the Ohio business community is a plus What We OfferCompetitive base salary + uncapped commission Opportunity to build and grow a strong book of business Supportive, entrepreneurial environment Career growth opportunities within a growing organization
