Experienced Systems Engineer
Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking an Experienced Systems Engineer (Level 3) to join the Space Analysis and Experimentation Team in Berkeley, MO.
The team is part of the Virtual Warfare Center and requires a systems engineer to develop and operate a virtual simulation environment for customer wargaming events. Responsibilities include modeling and simulation development, real‑time simulation, programming, scenario development, integration, testing, and event execution. The engineer will interface directly with United States Government customers and other contractors.
Responsibilities
Plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
Evaluate customer and operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and ensure compatibility of all interfaces.
Develop and manage requirements, risk, issues and technology readiness assessment processes.
Resolve cross‑functional technical issues.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include:
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or related field.
4+ years related work experience or equivalent education and experience.
Working knowledge of MATLAB.
Experience with AFSIM or other simulation tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior military or DoD civilian experience.
Effective communication with military operators and contractors.
Experience developing technical requirements from written and verbal guidance.
Working knowledge of GIT.
Location and Travel
Berkeley, MO. Travel may be required up to 10% of the time, domestically and/or internationally.
Security Clearance
Ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance. Final U.S. Top Secret Clearance post‑start is required. U.S. citizenship required.
Pay
Pay range: $112,200 – $151,800 based on experience and qualifications.
