Maintenance I

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Level 1 Building Maintenance Technician to support the daily upkeep and operation of a large multi-floor commercial facility with many tenants. This entry-level role is responsible for assisting with general maintenance, repairs, inspections, and building support tasks to help ensure a safe, clean, and functional environment for tenants, staff, and visitors.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance and minor repairs throughout the buildingAssist with basic plumbing, electrical, lighting, HVAC, and carpentry tasksConduct daily walkthroughs and inspections of common areas, mechanical rooms, stairwells, restrooms, and exterior groundsRespond to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely mannerReplace light bulbs, ceiling tiles, air filters, and other basic building componentsHelp maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance shops, storage rooms, and equipment areasAssist senior maintenance staff with larger repair projects and preventative maintenance tasksOperate basic maintenance tools and equipment safelyReport safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, and building concerns to supervisorsSupport emergency response procedures as neededMaintain professional communication with tenants, vendors, and staffQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferredPrevious maintenance, janitorial, construction, or facility experience is a plus but not requiredBasic knowledge of hand tools and general repair practicesAbility to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a teamStrong attention to detail and reliabilityAbility to work in a large multi-story facility and travel between floors frequentlyComfortable lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, bending, and standing for extended periods#ABI3247PandoLogic.
