Our employees are empowered to provide superior service and product performance to every customer.FUNCTION: Plan, direct, and coordinate the work activities and resources necessary for manufacturing products in accordance with cost, quality, and delivery specifications in a plastic injection molding manufacturing facility.RESPONSIBILITIES:Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.Coordinate plant activities through planning with departmental managers to ensure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner.Develop or implement production tracking or quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, maintenance, or other operational reports, to detect production problems.Develop and control profits, plans, and budgets.Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production and quality standards.Maintain existing plant facilities and equipment; replace, or make adjustments to plant facilities and equipment when necessary.Implements and maintains preventative maintenance programs.Provides direction, development and leadership to production supervisorsSupport the analysis, planning, design, implementation, and evaluation of key projects to help companies achieve their goals using six sigma methodology and analyticsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, management and/or business.Prior plant management experience with proven supervisory/managerial skills.Minimum 5 years in a management role leading others.Minimum 3 years of plastic injection molding processing experienceExperience with Lean Six SigmaProficiency in Microsoft OfficeExcellent written and verbal skills
