Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A)
Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A)Reporting to the VP of Finance & Accounting, the Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A) holds a critical role in capturing and reporting all financial reporting. This individual has a focus on financial planning, both short-term and long-term, of business operations to measure and forecast future business performance. They have the opportunity to make positive financial contribution by discovering cost saving opportunities and ensure a high level of reporting integrity.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Create the Annual Financial Plan (Operating, Financial and Capital Budgets)
Provide financial analysis, recommendations and decision-making support to the executive staff
Model the financial impacts of a variety of business decisions and presenting options to business leaders; help drive process and cost efficiencies for business operations
Develop and review the Rolling Forecast and Strategic Plan
Assist in maintaining the integrity and completeness of the Company's data warehouse
Assist with the month-end close process (mainly through variance analysis)
Perform monthly Actual vs. Budget variance analysis and discuss with department managers
Manage the Company's balanced scorecard (daily, weekly and monthly operational metrics)
Review monthly financial statements for each assigned business unit, identifying key trends, variances and areas of improved performance
Proactively provide insightful, actionable and accurate financial reporting analysis to key business owners in the organization and must be able to communicate the information so others can understand
Builds strong partnerships with key internal customers and cross-functional teams
Identify, evaluate and compare multiple projects by their ROI% and track progress
Perform other various ad-hoc analysis as requested by management
Other duties as assigned
Reports to the Controller
Skills and experience required include:
Master's Degree in Finance or business; CPA preferred
5-7+ years of experience in Finance and Accounting
Advanced skills with Microsoft Office (MS Excel, MS Access, etc.)
A background with distribution organizations is a plus
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server is required
Experience with One Stream and CRM software a plus
Very strong data mining skills

This proximity requirement supports occasional in-person meetings, team collaboration, or site visits as needed.
