Frontend Developer (Angular & API)
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Frontend Developer specializing in Angular and API integration for a contract position. The developer will be responsible for building high-performance web applications, translating designs into effective user interfaces, and collaborating with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs. The ideal candidate has at least three years of Angular development experience, a strong understanding of frontend performance and usability, and experience working in Lean-Agile environments. The role requires a focus on responsive user experiences, accessibility, testing, and maintainable application code.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain high-performance frontend applications using Angular.
Apply Angular framework capabilities and established development practices to build robust web applications.
Translate design concepts into user interfaces and identify design challenges, implementing effective solutions.
Collaborate with backend developers to build and integrate RESTful APIs.
Apply user-centered design principles to improve usability and accessibility.
Optimize CSS and JavaScript implementations to deliver smooth visual effects and maintain frontend performance.
Write and maintain comprehensive unit tests using automated test-driven development practices.
Contribute to frontend development and testing within Lean-Agile projects.
Required Qualifications:
At least three years of experience as an Angular Developer.
Strong knowledge of AngularJS practices and commonly used modules, supported by practical development experience.
Understanding of user-centered design, testing methodologies, usability, and accessibility considerations.
Extensive knowledge of CSS and JavaScript techniques for delivering performant visual effects.
Experience writing unit tests and working with automated test-driven development practices.
Experience working on Lean-Agile projects.
Ability to collaborate effectively with backend developers and other project stakeholders.
Location and Work Arrangement:
Remote position with location options in New Jersey, Texas, and North Carolina.
The first week requires onsite attendance at a client location nearest to the candidate.
No additional travel is required.
