Electrician (Night)Amentum is seeking an Electrician (Night Shift) to join our team in McLean, VA! As an Electrician, you will inspect, repair, replace, install, adjust, maintain, and make necessary tests on all electrical systems and equipment 600v or less throughout the facilities.Night shift: 1:30 pm - 12:00 am (Tuesday - Friday), 4 days/10-hour shiftsMust be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI US Government security. Note: US citizenship is required to obtain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.Major Duties and Responsibilities:Work from prints, diagrams, specification, and instructions covering emergency and scheduled repairs; as well as demolition, installation, testing, and inspection of work to be done on electrical systems.Perform preventive maintenance, repair, or replacement of electrical equipment on AC and/or DC systems.Analyze, troubleshoot, modify, install, and repair electrical equipment and circuits using prints, diagrams, and test instruments.Test, inspect, clean, repair, dismantle, adjust, replace, assemble, maintain, and lubricate all manual or automatic AC and DC systems, electrical equipment, transformers, switchgear, control panels, regulators, and various other electrical apparatus.Directs other electricians and repair personnel as required.Prepare and maintain records and reports on electrical systems equipment, as required for maintenance programs based on all information obtained through tests.Install conduit, wiring and electrical apparatus.Read blueprints and generate bill of materials.Perform other job-related duties, as assigned.Maintain part and tool inventories.Perform Electrical Surveys.Thermal Imaging Camera of panels, switchgears, and other related electrical equipment/parts.Complete ADC's as required.Required Qualifications:Journeyman Electrical License.Six years maintenance and/or construction experience in the electrical trade required.High school, technical school, apprenticeship, trade school graduate or equivalent required.Thorough working knowledge of national and local electrical codes.Ability to write as well as comprehend written and oral instructions.A willingness to work rotational shift if necessary, including days, evenings, and nights, as well as overtime, call-ins weekends, and holidays, as required.Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI US Government security. Note: US citizenship is required to obtain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.Preferred Qualifications:Master Electrician License.NFPA-70E Training.OSHA 10 TrainingCPR TrainingAbility to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.Physical Demands: Incumbents may work in conditions that require operating industrial machinery/power tools and motor vehicles. Additionally, incumbents may participate in work that requires walking, bending, squatting, and carrying materials throughout the facility. Workplace conditions necessitate following strict safety guidelines and the use of Personal Protective Equipment. Work tasks requiring the incumbent to lift weight more than 50 pounds requires two or more persons.Compensation Details: $49.22
