Key Responsibilities – Scale Operations · Operate and manage daily scale operations and scheduling. · Maintain proficiency with scale systems, reporting, and documentation. · Analyze shipping documents and coordinate product flow across departments. · Grade incoming grain, operate grading equipment, and identify quality issues. · Train additional scale operators and support scale certifications and equipment upkeep. Supporting Responsibilities – Agronomy & Grain Operations · Deliver, verify, and haul products between facilities based on dispatch and seasonal needs. · Assist with fertilizer, grain loading and unloading, including grain transfers and bin cleanouts. · Operate grain dryers and related equipment; sample loads and support grain operations. · Perform grain housekeeping and equipment cleanouts. · Complete required paperwork accurately and on time. · Perform basic preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment. Job Requirements · Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or relevant experience is a plus. · Certifications: Have and maintain a valid driver’s license and possess a satisfactory driving record. · Technical Skills: o Proficient in the use of computer technology and other relevant tools. o Proficient in Microsoft Excel. o Ability to understand agricultural operations and commodities. o Ability to stand for long periods of time. · Soft Skills: o Strong attention to detail. o Display a high degree of adaptability and flexibility. o Self-driven, motivated, and organizationally efficient. o Strong commitment to quality, honesty, and client service. o Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with focus on team collaboration. o Possess a confident and positive mindset. o Safety-minded with strong awareness and adherence to safety protocols, regulations, and best practices.
