Pay: $24.25 per hour plus Shift Differential: $1.00 per hourShift & Working Hours: 2nd Shift; 1:00PM to 9:00PM; Weekends/Overtime/Holidays as needed.In this role, you’ll be a key member of our Land O’Lakes, Inc. manufacturing team, ensuring the quality of our safe wholesome finished products. You’ll gain skills and experience in working with operations to ensure product integrity, from a microbiological and analytical standpoint, is protected and that our products conform to all standards within the LOL Quality Management Systems.This role is part of our Dairy Food business who creates dairy products that stand for real, simple goodness. We believe there’s power in every drop of milk our farmers produce, and by improving production and finding innovative uses for that milk, we add a little good to people’s lives.Key ResponsibilitiesComplies with all safety processes and insists on safety practices of self and othersShows up on time, completes tasks by deadlines, and adapts to changes quicklyPerforms analysis, inspections, sampling, and testing of all stages of the manufacturing process, to ensure quality standards and compliance to customer and regulatory requirements, and tolerance specifications for the chemical or physical propertyEvaluates non-conforming results and initiates re-sampling, re-testing, and/or hold proceduresPerforms a variety of qualitative tests or qualitative assays on samples, and to aid in maintenance and certification of test instruments and apparatus to ensure compliance.Works with Quality Assurance Managers, Lab Supervisors and staff to foster and develop Quality programs to assist all employees; assists plant with onboarding and training of employeesAble to multi-task and keep up with production demands in a fast-paced environmentMaintains cleanliness and organization of work areaRequired Experience And SkillsMust be 18 years or older1 year of work experience in any industryBasic computer and math skillsAble to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructionsWillingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshootStrong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectfulPreferred Experience1+ year of manufacturing work experiencePhysical RequirementsAble to lift/carry up to 50 poundsFrequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movementsPerforming duties while wearing personal protective equipmentWorking in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are presentAbout Land O'Lakes, Inc.Join us and be part of a Fortune 250, farmer- and member-owned cooperative that is reimagining the business of food.
