These roles span multiple experience levels, offering opportunities from hands-on development to technical leadership and system design.Key ResponsibilitiesDepending on experience level, responsibilities include:Designing, developing, analyzing, and testing software applicationsCollaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver solutionsParticipating in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)Creating and maintaining automated test frameworks and documentationIdentifying, troubleshooting, and resolving software defectsPerforming performance testing (load, stress, scalability)Developing optimized solutions using complex algorithmsEnsuring system maintainability and alignment with standardsDriving continuous improvement in tools and processesMentoring team members and leading best practices (Senior/Principal)Designing user interfaces and data visualizations (Principal)RequirementsCore Requirements (All Levels)Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearanceBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experienceStrong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skillsPassion for learning and working with emerging technologiesExperience by LevelJunior Software Engineer (1–4 years)Experience with software development and/or QA processesKnowledge of testing tools (Selenium, Cypress)Familiarity with Python, Java, or GoUnderstanding of performance, security, and usability testingSenior Software Engineer (5+ years)Strong experience in architecture, design, and developmentExperience with Angular or ReactKnowledge of microservices architectureFamiliarity with PostgreSQL/MySQL and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab)Principal Software Engineer (7+ years)Extensive experience in full-stack development and system architectureExpertise with cloud and container technologies (Docker, AWS/Azure, Kubernetes)Strong background in microservices and scalable systemsProven leadership, mentoring, and technical directionBonus (Principal):Agile tools (Jira, Confluence)Experience with satellite communications or DoD systemsIf you are interested, please apply today!We’re moving quickly and looking to interview candidates ASAPangela.olmo@newspacetechnical.com
