Palmer Square is currently seeking candidates for a Business Development position focused on the Private Wealth channels. This position offers a unique opportunity to not only work with a growing firm, but also a collaborative sales team.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for territory revenue growth in the private wealth channel through new business development and management of existing relationships
Maintain deep understanding of Palmer Square investment products
Develop territory business plan with executable goals and targets
Performs other related duties and special projects as necessary or assignedREQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Works well independently and with minimal guidance
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to establish business plan with fundraising goals and targets
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Adaptable to changing needs in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
High attention to detail and the ability to effectively problem solveEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in finance-related field is preferred
FINRA Series 7 and 63
Minimum of 5 yrs experience in business development in the RIA, IBD and Wirehouse channels
Successful track record of building new relationships and fundraising in specified markets
Strong understanding of financial products: ETFs, mutual funds, private funds, BDCs
