The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Java and a strong understanding of backend development, APIs, and databases.This position is exclusively open to candidates currently on F-1 OPT or STEM OPT Extension.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, test, and maintain Java-based applications.Build and maintain REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot.Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code.Troubleshoot and resolve application issues.Work with SQL databases and perform basic database operations.Participate in code reviews and software development activities.Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and project stakeholders.Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC processes.Write unit tests and assist with application testing.Required Skills1–2 years of Java development experience.Strong knowledge of Core Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).Experience with Spring Boot.Understanding of REST APIs.Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.Familiarity with Git/GitHub.Good problem-solving and communication skills.Preferred SkillsHibernate / JPAMicroservicesMaven / GradleJUnitDockerAWS, Azure, or GCPBasic knowledge of React or Angular
