The result is a new breed of AEC firm that delivers the speed, reliability, and transparency that the industry severely needs.Lead Software Engineer/ArchitectResponsibilitiesAs a Lead Software Engineer/Architect you will be responsible for leading the development of Design Automation, Analysis and Simulation platform at Hedral that leverages computational geometry algorithms, generative design and high performance computing to automatically create optimal design solutions for AEC designs. You will be responsible for designing and developing scalable software solutions for highly domain specific requirements in collaboration with relevant Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). You will lead a team of software engineers to implement high quality software solutions.You will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of highly qualified global team of software engineers Minimum QualificationsPhd / MS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science or related field.4+ years of CAD/CAE software development experience3+ years of hands on experience with FEA, CFD analysis software development3+ years of experience with Geometry Kernels and Meshing Libraries integrated into cloud native software with distributed systemsHands on development experience of Computational Geometry Data Structures and AlgorithmsExpert understanding and ability to develop data models and systems for Engineering Design, Analysis and SimulationExperience developing scalable cloud native applications for engineering design simulationExperience with one of the public cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP or AzureDesired QualificationsExperience developing Physics/Multi-Physics solvers for CAE applicationsExperience developing Analysis and Simulation software for Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC)Good understanding of similarities and differences between Design and Analysis Data Structures for Engineering Design SoftwareRemote restrictionsWorkday must overlap by at least 5 hours with Austin, TX, USAMust be a resident of United StatesApply hereThis site is protected by reCAPTCHA and the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.
