Registered Nurse/Nurse Resident - Neuro Stroke Unit - 36 hours per week - 12 hour midnight shiftFull-Time Benefit EligibleShift: Midnights 7:00 pm to 7:30 am with alternating weekend scheduleGENERAL SUMMARY:Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.UNIT OVERVIEW:30 bed unit specializing in neuro patients. Some of the patient population consisting of stoke/stroke-like symptoms, seizure, brain bleeds, and other neuro type diagnosis. In addition, will see small number of cardiac patients with a couple cardiac drips that are not titrated, and any other patient's needed placement.
