Leveraging deep technical expertise, standardized best practices, and advanced technology platforms, we deliver consistent, high-quality solutions that support our clients’ most critical project needs.Position OverviewThe Safety Manager serves as the Owner’s representative for day-to-day safety oversight across complex capital construction projects. This role monitors contractor safety performance, ensures compliance with OSHA and project requirements, and supports the proactive identification and mitigation of field risks.The Safety Manager partners with project teams and contractors to reinforce accountability, promote a strong safety culture, and ensure safe execution of work across all phases of construction.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct routine site safety observations and audits to identify hazards and verify complianceSupport incident, accident, and near-miss investigations, including documentation and corrective actionsMonitor contractor safety programs, training records, and documentation for complianceParticipate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and field briefings to reinforce safety expectationsEnsure field compliance with OSHA standards, PPE requirements, and safe work practicesCollaborate with contractors and project teams to resolve safety issues and reduce riskTrack and report safety performance metrics and trends to the Owner and project leadershipQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or related field preferred5+ years of construction safety or field safety management experienceStrong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standardsExperience conducting site inspections, audits, and incident investigationsStrong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and safety reporting tools preferredRelevant certifications (OSHA 30, CSP, NEBOSH or equivalent) preferredAt Anova, We OfferMedical, dental, and vision benefitsHSA/Medical Savings with employer contributionEmployee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) + 401(k) matchGenerous PTO and paid holidaysParental leave and wellness benefitsCompany-sponsored events and additional voluntary benefitsNotice to Recruiters and AgenciesAnova prefers to recruit candidates directly, rather than through a third party recruiter or agency.
