With offices nationwide, our collaborative approach allows us to deliver national strength with local service.About the RoleThe Account Executive is responsible for managing a defined book of business (typically $750k-$1M in revenue) and supporting all aspects of client service, renewals, and account maintenance. This role serves as a primary day-to-day client contact, working closely with Producers and internal teams to ensure high-quality service delivery and retention.Why Alera GroupMeaningful Impact: Help clients and employees navigate benefits programs that drive retention, engagement, and satisfactionGrowth & Learning: Opportunities to deepen your expertise and gain exposure to a variety of clients and industriesCollaborative Culture: Work in a team-oriented environment that values accountability, partnership, and the principles of The Collaborative Way RESPONSIBILITIESWhat You'll DoThe Account Executive's main role is to ensure customer satisfaction and client retention by delivering timely, consistent, and quality service.Process service requests, including preparing submissions, reviewing quotations, issuing proposals, summaries, certificates, binders, invoices, and premium audits for clientsReview and verify policy endorsements, newly issued policies, and insurance contracts for accuracy and complianceFollow up promptly and professionally with clients, carriers, producers, and team membersManage and prioritize workload, coordinate with Account Assistants, and conduct monthly renewal meetings with producers and Account ManagersMaintain certifications, complete training goals, and stay current on underwriting requirements and carrier authorityTeam Leadership & CollaborationFoster a collaborative, high-performing team environmentSupport hiring, onboarding, and training of new team membersCoordinate service timelines and ensure deliverables align with client expectations QUALIFICATIONSWhat You BringRequiredMinimum 5 years of experience in a commercial account management roleActive Property & Casualty licenseStrong knowledge of commercial lines coverages, carriers, and market dynamicsExperience managing large, complex accounts and renewal strategiesProven ability to lead client meetings and present to senior stakeholdersProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Experience with agency management systemsPreferredExperience with AMS Sagitta or similar platformsIndustry designations (e.g., CPCU, CIC, CRM, or similar)Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experienceSubject matter expertise in specific industries (e.g., construction, transportation, senior living) ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONCompensation:Salary range: $100,000 - $125,000 per yearBenefits:Alera Group offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and disability coverage, 401(k), generous PTO, and more.Work Model:This role is RemoteProfessional Development - Alera Group AcademyAt Alera Group, growth isn't left to chance.
