Hospitalist Opportunity Jones Memorial HospitalWellsville, New York 7 On / 7 Off 1-Year ContractJones Memorial Hospital is seeking a dedicated Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Hospitalist to join its collaborative care team in Wellsville, NY. This opportunity offers a structured week on / week off schedule with 24-hour shifts, strong APP support, and a welcoming community hospital environment. Position Details Schedule: 24-hour shifts, 7 days on / 7 days offContract: 1-year commitment requiredStart Date: As soon as availableDay Coverage (7a 7p): Hospitalist onsite with 12-hour APP supportNight Coverage (7p 7a): APP remains on-site while Hospitalist is on call (must be within 20 minutes of hospital)Admissions: 2 4 during the day; 1 3 overnight handled by APPCall Volume: Not 100% predictable; APP manages majority of overnight activityPatient Load: patients shared between Hospitalist and APPICU: 6-bed ICU with Pulmonologist on staffProcedures: Not required, but helpfulEMR: Epic Compensation & Benefits Rate: $2,400 $2,500 per 24-hour shiftIncludes: $2,100 for day coverage + $400 overnight call stipendTravel & Lodging: CoveredMalpractice Insurance: Provided, including full tail coverage Requirements Active New York State medical licenseCommitment to full 7 on / 7 off scheduleAbility to manage inpatient care in a team-based modelComfortable with overnight call coverage (off-site)This is a great opportunity for a Hospitalist who values consistency, autonomy, and a supportive team structure while enjoying flexibility during overnight call hours.
