Full Stack UI EngineerContract Duration: 12 MonthsLocation: On-site – Spring, TXRate: $65/hr. W2Note: Looking for only Local resources in Houston TX.OverviewWe are seeking a Full Stack UI Engineer to join a high-impact technology team building tools that support large-scale, cloud-based energy and sustainability initiatives. This role focuses on developing modern web applications that enable users to extract actionable insights from complex analytical and modeling results.You will collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Modeling teams to deliver scalable, user-friendly applications that support data-driven investment and operational decision-making across a growing platform.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with UI/UX designers and product managers to design, build, and enhance full stack web applicationsImplement intuitive, high-performance user interfaces for modern cloud-based web platformsIntegrate and consume APIs, create automated tests, and optimize application performance across frontend and backend layersWork with cross-functional teams to format, retrieve, and visualize complex datasetsDevelop scalable, modular, and reusable code while adhering to established architectural and coding standardsParticipate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of development processesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical software development experience5+ years of professional experience in full stack, enterprise-grade software developmentStrong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScriptExtensive experience with modern frontend frameworksExperience designing, building, and scaling backend services using frameworks such as Express, Spring, or .NETHands-on experience with database integrations and cloud infrastructurePractical knowledge of reactive programming concepts (async/await, RxJS) and state management solutionsExperience developing user interfaces with complex visualizations and rich user interactionsExperience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions or JenkinsAbility to adapt to changing priorities and deliver high-quality work on scheduleStrong communication skills and experience working collaboratively in Agile environmentsPreferred QualificationsExperience building user interfaces using Next.jsExperience developing JavaScript-based backends, particularly with NestJSHands-on experience deploying and maintaining applications in AzureBackground in building analytics or data-intensive software platforms with advanced visualization requirementsFull stack development experience with backend application design and implementationPrior project experience with Python or data platforms leveraging ontology-based SDKsIf this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
