Field Service Technician

SummaryThe Field Service Tech will be responsible for traveling to the retail stores to test, troubleshoot and repair our reverse vending machines (RVM). The ideal candidate would have a great work ethic and a willingness to learn new skills with provided training. This candidate would have a basic understanding in maintenance or mechanical systems with the ability to troubleshoot with root cause analysis. We are seeking applicants in the Queens and Nassau area.Job DescriptionMaintain, service and repair reverse vending machine’s (RVM’s). This role will focus on conveyors, sensors, motors and other equipment. Driving between locations is a large part of the role & so a clean driving record & a love for being on the road is important.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesHave the ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical components of our reverse vending machines (RVM).Install new RVM’s at new sitesProvide excellent customer service to our customers and publicEmployee is required to use hands to assemble, disassemble and repair mechanical components.Reliable company vehicle with expenses paidHigh School diploma or equivalentExcellent customer service skillsMust be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. and frequently push/pull up to 150 lbs.Ability to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekendsMust be able to read and write English
