Their duties include vacuuming floors, sanitizing restroom facilities, and collecting trash to ensure the building occupants have a clean space.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:A Custodian's main responsibility is to clean a workspace. This task is broken down into several duties performed throughout the day or at other regular intervals, such as:Emptying trash cansDusting all surfacesOrdering new cleaning supplies as neededWashing windowsMaintaining a thorough inventoryMust accurately complete all assigned tasks in a timely manner.Must follow directives from supervisor/manager.Proactively seek additional work and provide status updates to supervisor.Other duties as assigned Requirements QUALIFICATIONS:Must be able to multitask efficiently and effectively. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT: Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.Occasional lifting, standing, crawling, reaching, use of stairs.
