Speech and Language Pathologist/Clinical Fellow Welcome Job Summary An SLP-owned Private Group Practice is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with students at the middle and high school level to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders. This role involves collaborating with families, educators, and healthcare professionals to develop effective treatment plans that enhance communication skills and overall quality of life for our patients. Duties Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication abilities in patients. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient needs. Implement evidence-based speech therapy techniques tailored to each patient’s specific challenges. Provide early intervention services to children with speech and language delays. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Educate patients and their families about speech disorders and the therapeutic process. Collaborate with school personnel and other healthcare providers to support the patient's communication goals. Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes. Skills Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to speech-language pathology. Proficiency in student assessment techniques for effective diagnosis and treatment planning. Familiarity with anatomy and physiology relevant to speech production and communication. Experience in providing patient care in various settings, including schools and clinical environments. Ability to work effectively with pediatric populations, demonstrating patience and understanding. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
