Job Title: Phlebotomist I Job Location: Henderson, NV Job Duration: 4+ months (possible extension) Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm Pay rate: $19 - 23/hr. on W2 Position SummaryThe Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the primary point of contact for patients, representing the organization with professionalism and care. This role involves collecting quality blood specimens, preparing them for laboratory testing, and ensuring accurate and safe procedures. The PSR I builds trust with patients by clearly explaining procedures and performing phlebotomy with skill, precision, and compassion. A strong focus on confidentiality, accuracy, and process excellence is essential.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform daily activities accurately and in a timely manner under the direction of the area supervisorMaintain a safe, clean, and professional work environmentCollect and process clinical and forensic specimens following established proceduresEnsure proper documentation and record maintenanceDeliver high-quality patient care while maintaining confidentiality and accuracyPromote a positive image of the organization to patients, clients, and the publicDemonstrate organizational commitment and leadership behaviorsJob RequirementsAbility to deliver accurate, error-free work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric experienceFlexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime as neededEducation RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent (required)Medical assistant or paramedic training (preferred)Phlebotomy certification (preferred; required in certain states)Experience RequirementsMinimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience (required)1+ years of phlebotomy experience (preferred)Customer service experience in a retail or service environment (preferred)Strong data entry and keyboarding skills (required)
