With cutting-edge tools and a commitment to excellence, we have built a strong reputation for quality and trustworthiness in the commercial sector.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Lead Service Technician located in Portland, OR. The Lead Service Technician will be responsible for routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing light commercial HVAC systems. Daily tasks include diagnosing and resolving system issues, performing field service visits, and handling service requests efficiently. Additionally, the role involves effective communication and customer service, ensuring client satisfaction with timely and professional support.QualificationsStrong technical skills in Maintenance & Repair and HVAC system upkeepProficiency in Troubleshooting and problem-solving for HVAC-related issuesExperience in Field Service operations and on-site evaluationsExcellent Customer Service skills to communicate effectively with clients and ensure satisfactionAbility to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environmentAbility to document all work performed to our BuildOps platform for record-keeping and invoicingEPA certification and familiarity with applicable codes and regulationsValid driver's license and a clean driving recordHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in HVAC or related fields are preferredLocation and commitment:· 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday· 40+ hours a week· Possible out-of-town work but mostly in the metro area· During the summer months there is a rotation for the service techs to be on call· Possibility of being on call for holidaysIn Addition:· Pay Checks Weekly· 401k Retirement. Viking will match up to 4%.· Viking Insurance Plan. 100% employer paid by Viking to include health, dental, and vision.· 2 Weeks PTO starting after 90 days/ After one year employment you will receive 3 weeks of PTO· Paid National Holidays after 90 days (6 total) Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year, July 4th· Friday after Thanksgiving the company is closed. You may choose to work if you have anything· A $150 allowance to get new boots or pants after 1 year· $150 per week on call. If it’s a holiday you get paid for 4 hours regular time no matter if you get called. We are always closed on Sundays.Requirements:Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role.Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
